English Secular Music, including works by Elgar, Britten, Purcell & Stanford and many more!

 

Light and popular music is included in our themed Summer concerts.

 

We have also enjoyed working with other musical groups including Fiori Musicali who specialise in fine Baroque music and the Bardi Orchestra.

 

When a piece requires soloists we have supported the development of young musicians by inviting students from the Birmingham Conservatoire as well as local soloists including sopranos Clare Robertson and Patricia Douglas.

 

At Christmas we have been fortunate to be able to welcome choirs from local Junior Schools as well as young musicians from Harborough who have applied for a scholarship from us to contribute to the costs of studying their instrument at college. These include:
